Clint & Amanda Wedding

August 4, 2012- Bonsall, CA ~ private home

I photographed Clint's brother, Nick's wedding a few years ago at the same location, their grandmothers home. Which made for familiarity and also made for a challenge. I wanted to deliver the same great photography that I did with Kate and Nick but also had to mix up the locations so that they didn't get the same photographs!! Luckily we were a bit more sneaky- going to in the greenhouse that we shot in front of last time and discovering a small flower crop that made for some pretty photos!! Once again their laid back family and friends were a great group to photograph. Amanda and Clint were also so sweet and down for our suggestions! A special thanks to Lindsay Bullis, who was the 2nd photographer at their wedding and a few others this year. She did a wonderful job!!
Please enjoy these highlights....

Caitlin & Emmanuel Engagement!

Balboa Park, San Diego, CA
Caitlin and Emmanuel are getting married in a few weeks! I'm looking forward to the big day, as I'm sure they are too. They wanted to take photos in Balboa Park, but also wanted to go places in the park that weren't too crowded! They are a little shy in front of the camera, and I told them so was I... which is why I like to be behind it! I knew a few places in the park we could go to that usually have little people and we also went close to sunset. We ended up getting some really pretty shots! Enjoy!

Jen & Ian Engagement Session

Little Italy, San Diego, CA
Jen and Ian are getting married this Sunday!! Thankfully we were able to take their engagement photos a couple of weeks ago- just in time! Ian had mentioned how he wanted photos next to a run down building... music to my ears :) I knew such a building in Little Italy, along with plenty of other cool backdrops. They were really easy to take photos of and I can't wait to see them in their wedding attire in a couple days!!

Enjoy!

Bryan & Sarah ~ June 23, 2012

Stonington Borough & Wadawanuck Club, Stonington, CT
Bryan and Sarah were awesome! Their wedding was in our home town in Connecticut and I LOVED photographing it. They wanted to do most of their photos prior to the ceremony so we made it happen. Thankfully there are plenty of places in the Borough to take photos in the shade! They were will to take tons of photos and I think we got some really cool shots. And then to top the night off, I asked my sister and brother-in-law to drive their VW bus to the Wad. club so we could also use that as a prop. Not only were the photos from the portraits great, but the guys arrived by boat to the ceremony, which was beautiful. And then the reception was awesome!! These people knew how to party!! I truly enjoyed myself and felt so lucky to have been asked to be a part of their day! Thank you!!!
Please enjoy these fans from the day!
(I loved the flowers on the tool table! Priceless! And I had to do the sequence front their 1st look, I love the look of the whole scene and they are so cute!)

Jon & Samantha ~ June 9, 2012

Solvang, CA
Jon and Samantha got married in a cool little town up East of Santa Barbara. The wedding took place at a golf course, which made for a beautiful backdrop. We had gorgeous sunny and clear skies the entire day. What stands out most to me about this wedding was how cute and funny they were as a couple. They made each other laugh. I also loved their style... it was bright and modern. The last thing I remember most was how sweet and fondly their family and friends spoke of them. It was lovely to hear them talk about Samantha and Jon and what great people they were individually and how wonderful they are as a pair. Oh and their dance floor rocked ;)
Enjoy the highlights!
