Francis & Min Engagement

Solana Beach Train Station, Solana Beach, CA
Francis and Min called me about a month before their wedding. Their photographer had cancelled on them and they were desperate to find a new one. Luckily I was available the weekend of their wedding!! We managed to squeeze in the engagement session too, which was nice because everything was so last minute it great to be able to meet them. I love the location they suggested. I'd been to the Solana Beach Train Station before, but never shot photos there. It was a GREAT place for photos and I will recommend shooting there again!! Thanks to them for the suggestion! Their wedding photos are going to be my next blog entry :)

Paul & Amanda Engagement

Downtown San Diego, CA
Paul and Amanda are two of my good friends! They're getting married next weekend, and I can't wait! We finally got the engagement photos done at the beginning of April. Both were very nervous in front of the camera. I kept telling them... it's me! Relax and have fun with each other. Eventually they did and the photos came out great! They were great at making each other laugh which is key to a great smile. SO EXCITED for the wedding!!!

Elizabeth & Sutton Wedding

Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, CA
I met Sutton & Elizabeth only a few months before their wedding. They are extremely laid back and told me that was how they wanted their wedding to go. Their wedding was at this cute hotel with a huge lawn that hung off the cliffs. So pretty. We had great light that day too, not too much sun. Right after the ceremony we were able to take photos on the property and then walk over to the cliffs. Such great views! My favorite part of the wedding was during the reception, the story of how he proposed in the WATER in Hawaii!! Crazy! A perfect insight to how these two are, free spirits.

Chelsea & Steve Wedding

Paradise Point, San Diego, CA
It was a beautiful day... not too sunny and just enough clouds! Their wedding was simple and intimate. They also have an adorable son that also made the day fun! At the reception he was too cute. We had plenty of time before the ceremony to take lots of photos of the girls. Enough time to hit the beach on the bay, which was great! The guys for a change we running late, so we didn't take their pics until later. Most memorable part was during the ceremony when they talked about how they first met! So cute!! The entire wedding was so sweet and nice, just like Chelsea & Steve. Such an easy wedding to shoot with a great couple and wonderful family & friends.

Leslie & Adam Engagement

Balboa Park, San Diego, CA
Leslie and Adam are getting married in September. We took their photos nice and early so they could get their save the date cards out. Which came out SUPER cute, joint effort by Leslie & myself. Yet again, Balboa Park makes for a great place to get a variety of backgrounds for photos. These two were adorable and really photogenic. Most people say their not and then once I start taking photos the camera tells a different story :) They were so easy to photograph , I'm looking forward to the big day!!

Lauren & JD Engagement

Del Mar State Beach, Del Mar, CA
Lauren and JD are getting married in October in South Carolina. I am so looking forward to their wedding in the South! Lauren is a friend of mine, which makes taking photos of her a little easier. They live right down the street from this beach and it had sentimental meaning to them... so it was the obvious choice for their engagement photos. They made each other laugh a lot and genuinely enjoyed being photographed... I think! At least it looked like that on the outside! They also didn't mind me getting a little creative and waiting for the train to go by to snap some cool- windy- photos!

Chelsea & Steve Engagement

Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 2/17/10

Chelsea and Steve got married a month after we took these engagement photos. They were both so great in front of the camera and with each other I knew the wedding was going to be just as easy. They are both laid back fun loving people and I tried my best to let that show in the photos. We went to a bunch of different locations- one of the benefits of shooting at Balboa Park. Look out for their wedding photos coming up soon!!
